May – UCC Fine Arts Student Showcase
The Art Gallery at UCC is pleased to announce the opening of the 2013 Student Showcase Exhibit. Selected pieces created by studio art students during the 2012-2013 academic year.
Please join us for the awards reception on May 9th at 5 p.m. in the Gallery. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, please contact the Whipple Fine Arts Office at 541.440.4691.
Gallery is open daily from 8am to 4pm or by appointment. It is closed during holidays and campus closures. Call 541.440.4692 for more information.

May 18 – Canyonville Jazz Festival
Pioneer Park, Canyonville, Oregon
May 21 – Umpqua Chamber Orchestra, UCC Chamber Choir and Young Solists Competition Winner, Erin Duckworth
The Umpqua Chamber Orchestra, UCC Chamber Choir, and Young Soloist Award Winner Erin Duckworth, under the direction of Dr. Jason Heald, will present a joint concert on Tuesday, May 21st at 7:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church. June 6 and 7 – Umpqua Singers
The Umpqua Singers will present year-end concert on Thursday and Friday, June 6th and 7th at 7:30 p.m. in the Centerstage Theatre. This concert will feature songs performed over the past academic year and is a fundraising event for their trip to Brazil. Admission is $7 per person or $15 per family at the door.
